This frame is very fast with Racerstar BR1103B 8000Kv or 10000Kv motors, a 2S 300mAh battery, 3020 props cut to 59mm and a BS06D 2.4gm 4 in 1 esc, or any similar lightweight esc. An even lighter esc is the TinyPepper2 at 1.3gm.
A pic of a recent build, trying out different motors and props. the Racerstars are smooth and efficient, arguably the best motor for this frame. Different props can give different performance characteristics, the 3020's cut down are often (but not always) the best all-rounder on high KV motors. A Nano-tech 2S 300mAh 45-90C is the best battery found so far.

This is an excellent and fast, lightweight 100mm frame with narrow arms for minimal wind resistance and thrust blockage. It is versatile and is capable of realizing the best performance from many different drive train combinations. The 3-HOLE in the title stands for "3 hole motor mounts", this is to give better motor base protection over the 2-hole mount frame version.
This frame will accept the TOP MOUNT SLED ARM 1.5MM or SLED FOR ZAPPY FPV 1.5MM for FPV use.

Recommended motor weight: <6.5gmESC: As light as possible, as a rough guide use 5A or higher rating for 1102 up to 1105 5000kv 2S, and a 10A or higher rating for 1105 6500kv+ and 1106. If in any doubt go even higher, up to 20A can be bought with little weight penalty over a 10A esc, and is a good option for any motor.
Battery: For light LOS builds we have found the Nano-tech 2S 300mAh 45-90C battery to be the best option for this frame. A battery capable of supplying more current e.g. GNB 450mAh or larger will be required for the higher-current motors.
Props: GF2540, KK2535, RX2535, cut down 3020's are popular choices. Experimentation is the way to find the best prop for your quad.
This frame is probably the lightest in it's class, this makes it very versatile for various applications - FPV, LOS acro, endurance, or any application where you want minimum weight for maximum performance. -

PROP CUTTER GUIDE 4MM CF

SHORT VERSION:
4mm thick carbon fiber plate for cutting props 52mm to 73mm in 1mm increments. All holes 1.5mm. Dimensions 43.5mm x 60mm.Mount it to a block of wood for manual prop cutting.
LONG VERSION:
For those that don't want to use a power tool to cut small props, or simply prefer doing it by hand, there is this jig for cutting small props. Usually it would be used for cutting 3" T-mount props to any size from 52mm to 73mm, in 1mm increments.
The idea is you screw the prop-cutting guide plate onto a piece of wood or suitable surface. Put a 1.5mm drill or spare 110X motor prop shaft in the hole that will give you the finished prop size you want, clip the prop tips with sidecutters or tool of choice, then run a flat file along the edge of the propcutter plate to give the final trim. Finish off with some 400 grade sandpaper.
You will need to drill out the 4 corner holes, all holes are the same 1.5mm size to keep the cost down, and it's impossible to know what size screws the buyer has in his possession. Even better if you can countersink the corner screws so the props can rotate freely.

Props: GF2540, KK2535, RX2535, cut down 3020's are popular choices. Experimentation is the way to find the best prop for your quad.

Ultra-lightweight 120mm frame with super narrow arms. Very quick and extremely agile when built light using 1102/1103 motors, 300mAh 2S 45-90C Nano-tech battery, and a lightweight esc.The performance from high-Kv 1103 motors is astonishing and their light weight (3.6gm) ensures this performance. It needs to be stressed that the lighter you can build this frame, the better it will perform.
If you want to use 1104/1105 motors (or bigger), the 3mm version of this frame is the one to choose. It weighs just 2gm more but has more strength for the heavier motors.
