    CODX 240

    $ 43.35

    The CODX 240 is a 240mm quad optimized for 3D Flying using 5" propellers. It is very precise, agile and nimble, the weight distribution is perfectly balanced on all 3 axis.

    His low speed flight characteristic makes it a perfect backyard 3D quad, but open the throttle and it is a lot of fun also in a bigger field for some big air 3D flying.

    Very simple design: One main plate 4mm (78g), One top plate 2mm (16g) and 4 standoff 13mm.

    Recommended Power System
    Motor: Recommended Cobra 2204 2300kV (or a 2204 in the range of 2300kV)
    ESC: Recommended KISS 18A 3D V1.1 (Also succesfully tested with Afro Race Spec 20A and SN20A running SimonK 3D)
    Battery: PULSE/TATTU 3S 1350mah 35C or more for the best performance
    Propeller: For very good performance and low cost: Gemfam 5x3 3D ($0.70), for the best performance Zeal 5x4 3D ($3.00),  HQ 5x4.5 3D not recommended poor performance, too heavy.

    Craze 310 Frame Kit

    $ 77.64

    This kit includes all of the carbon fiber frame components as well as all of the neccessary hardware to fully assemble the frame.  We even include special M3x10mm screws to use with the landing legs and your motors.

    The kit does not include the landing legs which can be found here: http://www.armattanquads.com/48mm-experimental-skids-set-of-4/  or the vibration dampening bobbins which can be found here: http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/store/__71182__Vibration_Damping_Ball_65g_Bag_of_8_AR_Warehouse_.html?strSearch=damp

    **Only the carbon fiber frame and hardware for assembling the frame is included.  Some pictures show other items in them which are not included in the kit such as electronics, landing legs, and dampening balls.**

    Craze 310 Quadcopter:

    • 310mm diagonal dimension
    • Can support up to 8" props
    • Battery mounts left to right, or front to back underneath
    • Can support various FPV cams mounted on top of the front of the top main plate
    • Can handle various size FPV Video Transmitters mounted to the top of the back of the top center plate
    • Has an antenna mount hole in the top plate for VTX antennas
    • Fits various size VTXs under the top plate as a second VTX mounting option
    • Mobius or similar action cam vibration isolated camera mount attaches with 5mm bobbins to the top plate
    • 2mm main plates
    • 4mm arms
    • 1.5mm top plate
    • 1mm camera mount plate
    • 179g assembled without landing skids or electronics

    At it's heart the Craze 310 is an acrobatic quad. However, with a quick install of an FPV cam and VTX onto the front and rear of the top main plate, it can easily turn in to an awesome FPV machine! Whether your flying acro or FPV, you can install the vibration isolated Mobius camera mount on to the top of the top plate and capture all your antics jello free. Depending on how you build this quad you could also more permanently install a VTX under the top plate and mount your antenna to the fixed mount location using a short extension cable.

    We designed this quad to do double duty. So far every quad I have owned, I wanted to fly FPV, and I wanted to mount the Mobius to it to capture my flights (without major jello). That has been challenging with many of them because especially the ACRO quads are not designed to readily support FPV gear and HD cameras.

    The recommended power train on this quad is a good 20A ESC along with 1900kv motors.  This gives you great power on 3S with a 7x4.5 prop or even an 8x4.5 prop.  For 4S running most motors around 1900kv will limit you with a 7x4.5 prop.  We get about 5 and 1/2 minutes of fast forward FPV flight on a 3S 2,200mah battery.  That battery is powering all of our FPV gear as well which includes a 200mw VTx, OSD, and camera.  You will want at least a 30C battery, and preferably 45C or higher.

    This video was recorded at 720p 60fps using a Mobius mounted to the vibration dampened camera plate.   There are a couple of crashes where the props broke mid air.  We were using gemfan knock offs 7x4.5.  There was zero damage to the quad other then the broken props in both crashes and every crash we have had since then with this quad.  It is a very tough frame and even the landing gear have not broken.  We now use an HQ 7x4.5 prop and have not had one break in flight.

    $ 51.81

    Description

    The Achilles frame is 210mm motor to motor and fits 5" props for 22xx motors. This frame is in an X configuration, but not quite a true X. This frame is a serious race frame and with the combination of the X style and extremely lightweight frame, it is incredibly agile and flies like it's on rails. I designed this frame to house all of your gear with multiple points for straps and zip ties. Every piece of equipment has a place to be housed (no more guessing where to put your gear)! This frame is extremely light but strong in all the right places.

  • Defiance265 - 5mm_CARBON_FIBER - Front Riser/Bumper block

    $ 4.68

    Defiance 265 - upgraded parts by the frame designer!

    By a request of the Defiance flyers I've designed some extra upgraded parts for their builds that usually wouldn't be produced duo to low volumen demand.

    Defiance 265 - Designer Beta front 5mm CFK Riser/Bumper block piece...

    By installement of this piece you will be able to use the 35mm spacers to get more battery fitting capacity and reinforce the bottom front bumper on your Defiance, while maintaining full functionallity as it provides the same mounting holes/slots as the undercarriage bottom plate does...

    Important note!!

    You will need to acquire 2 x M3x12mm screws separately to assemble this between the bottom plate and the Alu I-Holder part!!

    This part is not compatible with early beta and preorder batch kits! There's 1mm offset towards front in camera mount slots position, if you do not use the camera mount plate this is of no relevance!

    e.g. if you use a cased camera with it's mount bracelet you wont be using the camere mount plate so the slots offset has no impact on the assembly.

    Please contact me if you would like to get a 5mm Riser/Bumper block piece with the older slot offset.
