This kit include the frame related hardware for the electronics of a 6" quad to sit in.
The design is based on a quad with GPS follow me capability
the main plate consists of
1) m3 30.5mm mount holes for the main stack. all other mount holes for stand off are also m3
2) holes for a generic ping sensor (such asHC-SR04) for better altitue hold at low altitue or terrrian following
3) versatile camera mount design
the body is designed so that the centre of rotation happens around the stack with the top plate cut out place for mounting a GPS.
the large top plate also allows for various payloads such as battery, follow me module, camera etc.
tested using a 4 in 1 ESC, the GPS compass is sufficiently far away from the main stack of electronics to not be interfered during position hold, while still giving it a rather low profile on the overall drone.
