Description
This pure X frame for 5" props and 22xx motors is as light and simple as I could make it without compromising on strength. With just the FC stack in the middle and a bottom mounted battery it has a very slim profile.
This frame uses the same base plates as my 1407 quadcopters and the arms are a very similar design, but these 22xx arms are 8mm wide instead of 6mm wide like on my 1407 quads. I believe the extra strengh will be a good idea when using the heavier motors and batteries.
I've also made some camera pods which will work with this frame:

Review Section ( Total Review:1 )
robert tillernice looking frame after I got it all glued up and sanded, unfortunately, you forgot to put in the description that the 22xxx mounting holes are milled sideways so the motor wires shoot out 90 degrees from inline with the arms. I'm not sure if that is how its engineered to strengthen the arms or a mistake but it makes my build look sloppy and I was looking for a slim clean Los build so I cant use it now and cant comment on the strength of the frame. also cant find any information to contact the designer.
